I'm a standing here waving
looking at you
in your direction
you can't see me swearing
I'm in pain
even my heart's burning
I'm always in your shadow
never enough to be seen
when your thoughts are on the others
and their problems and their dreams
my eyes are slowly hurting
as i turn to look away
not much left to keep on going
when it's them you seek to prey
left me here beside your shadow
left me out in all the rain
sullen i surrender to my grief
i walk away
